    Vt stalling help please

If you think the alternator is an issue it would be worthwhile checking it with a multimeter while engine is running. Should be seeing around 14v, anything below 13v I would consider as faulty

My VT S Pac "Gold Nugget"

Yeah I had autos for most my life and decided it would be a good idea to get a manual. I do a bit of spirited driving here and there and it made it much more enjoyable Only downside now is clutch is slipping and box is a bit noisy. Clutch will be getting done today though as well as rockers...

Yesterday, removed any old earth cables from my last stereo system out of my wagon and put the back seat in properly, just so I can get it registered again. Oh, and plasti dipped my tail lights on my VT Today, after a bit of testing, FINALLY figured out what was keeping my interior light on. Had...

    Pedders quote

LOL Pedders can't be trusted for pricing OR honesty One of my mates had just replaced pretty much every bush in his Suzuki GTi, took it into the wollongong store the day after to see what they would say. Their list of items "in need of replacement" included half the bushes As I said, can't be...

    Unknown Plugs and other bit

Is this a wagon with column shift by any chance? The blue and black plugs are usually for the rear wiper and washer on a wagon :) The 4th plug (if this car had it) would come up from the hole in front of the 2 plugs on the right As for the big 6 pin white plug, no idea

    My VP "Sound-Off" beast

Hey everyone. It's been a while since since I've posted on here but there is good reason for that. Nothing has really changed LOL I have managed to score a few parts that will be going in, including a calais centre console minus the stereo surround Subs have come out as one had a blown coil...

What to replace my speakers with?

I agree with Morel's and Hertz HSK's too I have Soundstream TR 6.5C's in my wagon and find they sound great on any genre of music, not sure how the TC model is though Another few to look at: 1. Vibe Black air 6" splits (they are quite bright on high freqs) 2. Pioneer TS-D1720C (6 3/4" splits, I...

VP interior light won't turn off

Tried to replace my ignition barrel light with an LED one, put it in, heard a buzzing sound from the dash (not sure where), took it straight back out. Now light won't turn off. Thinking it could be the delay switch. Anyone know where to find it?

    alternator??

Most auto electricians will do reco units on an exchange basis, not sure on price as it depends on where you go

    VP Drag Car

Take all the carpet out, everything out the boot, centre console and stereo surround (may as well get rid of head unit too coz its kinda useless in a drag car), any speakers, ends of dash can come off, door cards If you wanted to go extreme then removing all sound deadening from floor and boot...

    How to run speaker wires

Well that all depends what that particular power cable is for. I had a speaker wire near a run of 0 ga that went from front to rear batteries. Caused a lot of alternator whine in that speaker, even when stereo was turned off

    window frame rattleing

I done this to my VP wagon, with Soundstream Deathmat. Doesn't stick too well so will be ripping it off and using Dynamat Made a MASSIVE difference. No rattles + better sound from my speakers = winning :D
