Sorry mate i miss read the question exterior is just a few lil things need tidying up the side skirts have some stone chips on and I would like to have them re sprayed and put a G8 diffuser on the rear and some of the lil roof fins that sit at the top of the back window

Putting a E3 HSV IQ system with gauges and cluster and going to be putting E3 senator seats front and rear

Thanks backjansz she has had a lot of time and effort to get her where she is now only a few more things left on the exterior and then ill be moving on to the interior

Another lil update of the Calais

I've got a VCM OTR Mafless tune pacemaker tri-y's 100 cell high flow cats an a 2.5 Inch straight thru cat back an I made 268.5kw just to give you an idea

Hey muso Just on the gearbox tune when I had mine done it was all included with the Mafless when it was done as its been mentioned above it completely changes the car I drive my Calais in the tip tronic 99% of the time and when you put your boot into it she will quite happily chirp second gear.

The car has been on three dyno's and produced roughly the same outcome on all three with in two to three horsepower of the original 345 tune

Ok small up date wheels are finally back on

I asked the other day at my mechanics about doing a manual conversion and he told me it would be upwards of 7 grand and that's using second hand parts apparently the whole firewall has to be in bolted and then a manual one bolted back in.

Just get a VCM OTR and get it Mafless tuned best bang for buck mod in my opinion

Ok got the car tuned today, the tuner was very surprised it made a very respectable 345.3 at the treads with only a OTR and 2.5 inch cat back and it ####ing moves now even chirps second in the auto lol ill get some pics up tomorrow

Ok car has been sitting the panel beaters last couple weeks waiting on parts never thought it would be so hard to source parts for a Holden but hey what can you do, car has had the OTR fitted and is being Mafless tuned next Friday an then the following week will be going in to have the headers...

Ok then might have to look into it as my car will be going in to have a whole heap of mods done soon one being a under drive pulley so might than he that out as well

Yep everything is fine with fitment got it to panel shop this morning still in safety mode tho. But its going into to be mafless tuned next week so that should sort it all out

The maf plug and the breather pipe off the back of the factory intake box but both have been re connected

Hi Just wondering if anyone has had there VE go into safety mode after installing a VCM OTR maf version and how can I get it out of safety mode???? Help would be muchly appreciated I'm located in Perth so if anyone can lend a hand it would be muchly appreciated. Cheers Patrick

Fair enough I really want to put the E3 cluster in aswell so if its only those little bits of red then like you said it should tie together nicely. Also is there any way of identify what model an IQ unit came out of???

Also can the lights be changed so they are the white like the rest of the interior in the Calais V

Fair enough then double dip with the IQ will it match up with to my rear DVD player and can it be made to play on the front screen while I'm driving???

Well that could be difficult as I'm in WA lol but I really would like to do the complete swap.
