Have a look at the strut top bush and bearing. Bush might have collapsed. Also the d bush on the strut bar.

Just an update. Purchased a new evap valve from holden for $70. The ticking sound has disappeared now. When I bought the new valve I wasn't able to blow through in the opposite direction where as in the old one I could. Will see if it affects fuel economy over the next few weeks.

Try cleaning you afm. Sometime the oil for washable air filters can cause the symptoms. Just uses crc maf cleaner.

Is it just missing the black plastic diffuser? Not sure if utes have them but the sedans do.

I think it's 2 screws either side ther pull horizontally towards yourself. Held on with 3-4 slide clips.

Try service your car. New spark plugs, air filter and clean maf, clean throttle body and change oil also you can change the O2 sensors. What fuel are you using. Thick oil can also increase fuel consumption. If not try getting the car remapped

Hey mate. Outside door skins are the same. The door trims are different however you can put a vf trim on a ve door just need to modify the mount holes

Have you tried a deep impact socket one size smaller. Bash it on with a hammer so it's stuck on the nut then use impact wrench to get it off?

The clips are just anti rattle shims. You can get a new set off ebay for $17. Also the other issue could be air in the lines or old fluid.
