The CAS for the LS1 engine is up behind the starter motor. Have to remove the starter motor to get to it.

Thanks Brett. Do I need the VIN info from the car the PIM was in originally as it was not reset before removal from that car so it is essentially still linked to that car?

Thanks NAAF. Yea I have the seal the right way around. I have made sure it is in right and sits nice and flush with the top of the cylinder before I put the cap on. I'll have a look at the cap for any cracks as well.

I had the same problem with my driver door for months until I replaced the actuator. I could always unlock it manually though if it didn't unlock with the remote but it took a bit of force. I used to get a flat blade screw driver and a piece of cloth to protect the lock nib and push the lock up...

Next time you go to one your car meets and hear an exhaust that you like ask them what they have and get that.

With a 5 year warranty I don't see why not. A genuine one is twice the price with only a 1 year warranty.

You can buy cheap plastic verniers from Supercheap for like $5. That's what I did when I replaced the bushes on my sway bar.

Not sure on VT but my VX has 2 holes in the airbox as standard. Was easy to do the MCAI mod. Have changed to OTR now though.

With an OTR you won't use the intake box currently in the car. OTR - Other The Radiator.

If you can still use your maf with OTR then no it won't need a retune.

Found this in another thread. No movement in any gear: pump failure, or total loss of fluid. R&R, or refill pan and find the leak. If out of fluid, avoid running the engine until the trans is refilled to avoid pump damage. To check for pump failure, check fluid level with the engine off...

Not sure on the VZ but look for and check the auto trans fuse in the fuse box in the engine bay.

Yeah sounds like the pan is leaking due to loose/missing bolts. Tighten what bolts you have on the pan and go to the wreckers and get the ones your missing, put them in and tighten them and then top up tranny oil and see how it goes.

Most mechanic shops or auto electricians will have a tech2/scan tool. Just ring a few and get a price.

You will have to ring Holden to get the pin code for the radio though. If your lucky they will give it to without charging you, if your not lucky.......well

For your code 92 it is usually the low speed fan relay. Cheap and easy to replace the relay, it is in the fuse box in the engine bay.

Had the same problems you have, airbag light on for 6 months or so then horn and steering wheel controls stopped working. Replaced clock spring with a second hand one, $20 from wreckers and all fixed. You will still have to get the airbag light reset with tech2 after replacing the clock spring.

Only one clock spring, under the airbag on the steering wheel. Have to remove airbag and steering wheel to get to it. There are two different ones you can get, depends if you have steering wheel radio controls or not.

Only VX Berlina and Calais had different shaped headlights so it will suit anything but them.

About $3,500 - $4,000 I reckon. Better off keeping the wheels for your VE and putting originals back on if you can.

Could also be a blown bulb or a short in the wiring for the brake lights/tail lights, headlights or fog lights.

Saw on another forum a guy had the same problem, same codes. He replaced the ABS unit and that fixed it.

Strange it doesn't have passenger airbag as well. VY SS ute came standard with it.

It came stock with extractors and as mentioned it would of been tuned to suit. It was an upgrade you could order when you bough the car from Holden.

With seat belt pretensioners and drivers and passenger airbags like the VY SS ute has you should have a 4 loop SDM system fitted.

Did you get the code cleared after swapping the seat belt pretensioner?
