Probs not the alt regulator as i get 15.6 voltage spikes and my battery light flicks on and off but the dash still reads correctly.

My VT manual used to make a huge clunk when putting the foot down and jumping on the throttle after changing gears. Replaced both rear drive shafts, only has a slight clunk now. Could be diff mount, tailshaft coupling were the gearbox bolts up.

Im running msd coils. Gave me more power. Smoother idle aswell

Throw a 2.5 inch exhaust, some extractors, 18 inch wheels with SL or SSL springs in the rear. I run ultra lows in the rear of my Vt on 18's, rides firm but not too harsh =)

Sounds like your low speed and high speed fan are playing up. Unplug the wiring to your coolent temp sensor and both fans should turn on within 15 seconds.

I got ultra lows in the rear of my VT, scrubs out on any speed bump and my diff or something hits the ground on the freeway when i go over bridges and sparks fly everywere, but looks mean with 18's on it and handles fine but i would prefer ssl

I bought my wiring kit off ebay. A stinger 4 gauge kit with everything for $140. Works well =)

My throttle in my Vt is hard too push in, i found a way to fix it. Spray some wd40 inside your throttle cable were it has a curve and i also cleaned my tb, ported it aswell.Made it alot better =)

Check to see if the little elbow hose below the throttle body is connected, mine kept coming off and running like crap, so i zip tied it on. If that's not the problem could be many things like tps, iac and a few other things.

Mine uses about 6 litres to a 100km on the freeway and about 15 litres to a 100 km around town. Uses **** all on the freeway because it's manual =)

My VS motor is out of a bt1, maybe that's why no N/A V6's stands a chance, not even the BA's can keep up =)

It's your thrust bearing or spigot bearing my was doing that, replaced my clutch, thrust bearing and spigot bearing fixed the problem. 100 % sure it's your thrust bearing.

Your VS is a turd. I got a VS motor in my VT and the motors got 370 k on it and it flogs most V6's. It's got ya typical rear main leak like yours.

Put a VY steering wheel in it, they fit, there's a how to some were on here

VS motors are the best, my vt has 292 k and the motor is out of a VS with roughly 370 k on it and it flogs VY's but when it does blow i will probs get a VY motor.

Get a VY SS and put a nice cam in it. My bro's old VY SS cammed and a bit of work made 426 hp. But doesn't compare to his new Merc AMG that things a weapon

You don't gain power by running a shorter belt and leaving the compressor their. You gain power by throwing the compressor in the bin, lost 6 kg of unwanted wieght =)

Ebays fine bought my whole top end kit of there, for my VT manual V6, just look at the ratings on the seller.

I tested my VT manual V6 alternator that way and it dies, alternator from the wreckers fixed it

The welding is completly split in half on the top of the strut tower about 20 cm long, i know it's broken because the other strut tower has the welding there and i think the cars bent too. But still drives normal =)

All my stuff for my VT V6 manual is off ebay and it runs alot quicker than your average 6. Really depends if ya buy the China crap, mines all genuine off ebay, better than paying retail.
