hey my car looses power when i accelerate and it will only go to 2,500 revs and barely hits 60km/h fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs, htc leads and coils are all ohk, and gearbox has been redoone. need help urgently

i want to get a new engine but i don't know what to get i have a VR commodore Calais v6. either a stage 2 stroker VR or a stage 5 from sre engines? any ideas or help?
