    You really need to see what your 02 sensors are reading in different throttle/load conditions. Plug a Scanner into it and take it for a drive. I have seen and ecu problem running one bank leaner than the other before.

    this argument is silly 400rwkw 32 is pretty easy out of the rb25... I say rb 25 because 400rwkw out of the tiny bore, tiny port rb20 doesn't exist without stroking to rb24, grout filling the block then running epic block splitting boost in it. the problem with these jap engineered drivelines...

    silly question but did you use the harness from the vt engine? or the harness from the car? still the original ecu? fuel return lines on the v6 have a white band around them on the black rubber and metal line just match them. if you used the vt v6 harness and plugged it into your vy computer...

    Our snapon scanner requires the body control module code to reprogram keys to start the car. if there is another key to duplicate off it's easy as. That's how the locksmith would do it, he wouldn't be able to program one from scratch.

    The head mechanic should be able to spot bad fuel trim data straight away and should be able to pin point faulty injectors at least down to a bank. I assume he had checked this before pulling the manifold off?

    Regular oil changes are the key, If I owned one I'd change it every 5000. Holden with their 15000km once a year oil changes on a hydraulic oil tensioned timing chain that are epically long is just asking for trouble.

    don't touch it... the long term fuel trims may be effected as well which happen over a period of time. When you say rough idle I'm guessing you mean you can't pinpoint it down to a single cylinder?

    Well do you know exactly how much was shaved off the heads? did you calculate the approx compression ratio if you do? with out knowing much more about the come cam, 228 at 50 is less than your 286 but not much more. If you weren't going to do much more future engine work maybe stick the smaller...

    Sounds like you may have broken the pump installing the converter as hako suggested.

    i would do it this way vt motor and box ecu loom etc use existing clutch peddle box, crossmember use tailshaft yoke from vs not too sure on getrage v6 vs v8 spline difference and sitting position. seriously easiest conversion.

    you can use the vt computer or vs one both are trouble free install if you use the vt computer and harness just make use use the distributor as well and disable the vats
