Past 3 months when I turn the car off the touch screen and all electrics stay on. I've been told it's a faulty door assembly and it's a known problem. Issue is no dealer in Bris seems to have the part as they are back order in Melb still.
Only thing I find that works is sitting in the car and slamming the door a few times as well as lock, unlock, lock, unlock with all devices in my car.
Is anyone else having same issue and found a different solution? This is so frustrating sitting in a car for extra 20 mins each time I just want to get out and go into work or house.

Only solution is to await part, or buy better built form of transport.
Thinks of warranty.

Yes had same issue.
Don't keep slamming it, timing is also irrelevant, not the issue. It is malfunction of internal micro switch, non-serviceable.
Meantime before wty replacement, toggle the latch manually.
Use medium-medium/large Philips head screwdriver

The idea is to toggle the switch in one solid motion (just like slamming the door). Slide the screwdriver shaft so it is perpendicular to the latch opening

Push the latch toward the outside (right) so as to trip the latch.

If the radio goes off, sweet. Else use interior door handle to open the latch and try again.
Harder to explain in words once it trips off and you open via door handle a few times you'll see it is possible to trip the microswitch manually.
Faulty batch of micro switches that break within 1000 cycles

It's such a common problem with them. Holden are refusing to do a recall on it too. They are selling new actuators on ebay from holden dealers. Looks fairly easy to replace and there is a youtube video on how to do it too.
