hey,
i just got a series 2 vt (2000) v6 and it no longer does stand stills

(ive done 1 in it) ive gotten mates to try but it wont work ANY info would be great

i dont know much about the newer comodores but the vt's should have traction control unless there is a way to turn it off you wont get much wheel spin

I'm pretty sure VT's have a button to turn the TC on or off don't they? I know the VX had one.

Yes, VT's have a button. If there is no Trac Ctrl button, then there is no traction control installed. What do you mean by it no longer does standstills? VTs can't do standstills unless you stall them up very high and have nice n thin tyres on the back. Due to the IRS on the VT, the thing will just bog and squat. Plus the VT is heavier than say a VS, so the extra weight doesn't help either.

sorry to say it probably doesnt have enough power? vx commos have pretty good traction, would probably just squat and do nothing..
