202 air leak issue

Hey, If possible I need help in diagnosing an issue on a 202 blue motor in a VH Holden Commodore. Cool car. I just installed new cam, timing gears & lifters (the fibre gear broke). Now the car runs like ****! Its like it has got a vacuum issue. It wont Ide, surges at low rev's, wont change gear...
