decal

Hi all new to forum, looking for help to make a connection with this decal. Original 65k Nov 1980 VC original colour, numbers matching, as delivered, unrestored commodore with strange (local dealer???) decal on front 1/4 panel. Any ideas???

I have a car I'm fixing up (Commodore of course) and I'm thinking of placing a huge white decal sticker of my fav band's logo on the bonnet (which is black). What do you think?
