key barrell

i’ve recently bought a vy with no key, i’ve put a new key barrel in and have a blank key fob, what is the easiest way to program a new key, the security light is still flashing so the MAP programmer doesn’t work, i have a Vident i400au Scanner but can’t figure it out, cheers

#1 Able to remove key in Accessories position which is bad because it can cause the battery to drain overnight. #2 Coincidentally, there's been a mysterious overnight battery charge leak (key in off mode) that my auto sparky can't find. Brand new expensive battery and new genuine alternator...
