The factory WH HSV sat nav unit with the wireless controller docked in the charge station. Works really well.

I don't think anyone's ever actually sat in the rear seats. Came with all of its documents, service history, leather owner's folder and even the Caprice brochures from the dealer still in the pocket behind the drivers seat!

I finally got around to finishing the engine cover off.

I bought a small paintbrush and a pot of silver paint from the local hobby store and told myself I would do all the lettering freehand, and I would not go outside the lines or stuff it up, because I did not want to repaint the whole thing again...

on both sides, by hand with no masking and just a brush and paint took me nearly 40 minutes, but it turned out fine with no problems Looks pretty good now.

Well done. I'm sorry I haven't noticed this thread before, your car is looking fantastic.
I am debating whether to upgrade my stereo, only it might be hard to find something that fits with the rounded corners of the woodgrain surround.

Thats a great find..Havent seen many around like yours. You will find lots of v8 engine etc upgrade info here just by looking at some of the members build threads links. Enjoy your new ride..
