02 VX Fuel Gauge

I was just wondering if i anyone can help me ... i have am 02 VX Acclaim and just recently i discovered that the intake pipe from the air box to the throttle body has split and now my distance to empty is out of whack ... i know i get 720Km reading on my display when i fill up but after i found the split it is only reading 590Km.

Is there a way i can reset the distance to empty so that it reads correctly or do i have to take to Holden to get it recalibrated.

I wasn't aware they have a distance to empty reading.

unmetered air, just reset your trip meter drive like you normally do and the system will read normal again
