[Alloytec] '06 omega muffler help

Hey I've got a 2006 VE Omega, was just looking for a quick and cheapish alternative than buying a full exhaust was looking at changing the exhaust and found this one online 'http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/COMMODORE-VE-PERFORMANCE-SPORTS-EXHAUST-MUFFLER-SINGLE-PIPE-WITH-3-5-TIP-/322007739438?hash=item4af9282c2e:g:S~sAAOxyY9VRU3B3'. However it says it's a 2.5" mandrel bent pipe system with a straight thru muffler & 3.5" tip". Is this going to get me defected ? Not too sure on how the law works with exhaust systems. Saying that is there any real point in buying it? Cheers (attached is a photo of the exhaust)
