After testing ignition wires with a multimeter to find the ignition start wire, the car is no go. Didnt disconnect anything or cut any wires but now its like the immobilizer is on and cannot reset it. Can open and lock car, dash all lights up, etc. but no starter motor cranking. Have tried several things in the forums like disconnect battery and fuses and waited a while, but now getting error messages like ABS Fault, also says Contact Dealer, also says LOW FUEL and its not low. Stability Control faults as well. And the car still will not start. Is there some way to reset the ECU or the immobilizer or is it a tow truck to the dealer?? Any help you can give would be great :D

When U where poking around did U happen to short 2 wires with the one probe? Almost seams like that's what happened.

Disconnect battery for 5 - 10 minutes and hope it resets the 'system'.

Check all the fuses in the passenger side foot well. When I was playing around with some interior lights that are hooked up to the ignition wiring I blew a fuse and the car would not start. Specifically mine was a 2 amp mini fuse which is hard to come by but jay car had them their.

My fuses are in the engine bay and I looked at the fuses and they seemed fine so I don't think that's it I'm thinking like the immobilizer has been activated or something

There are some in the engine bay and should also be some in the passenger side foot well on the door side. There is a little panel that you pull towards the back of the car.

So your car starts now ?

Try disconnecting the battery for 10-15 minutes

What mobi phone you got? If android get urself a OBDII Bluetooth dongle off eBay. Download the app and you can check and reset codes from your phone. Also helps when there is an Error. Save u some paying others too tell you what's going on.

Though for something like this just disconnect the battery, I would recommend WIFI instead of bluetooth much faster and works better IMO

Yeah that was my fear too, Dad cracked it when it wouldn't start and I had no idea what the problem was.
