07 Calais V6 Exhaust

Hi all.
Just wondering if anyone can tell me if the V6 and V8 cat back exhaust is the same size etc. My 07 Calais is a v6 and the exhaust my partner bought online says V8 because he didnt read it properly. Will it fit or na?

SO long as the one from online isn’t for a Ute - it will fit. It’s have 150mm longer rear muffler tips.

If the one from online is a stock V8 exhaust, it will be the same diameter also (2.25).
Difference with V6 / V8 exhaust is;

V6 has 3 mufflers in the centre section,
V8 has 2 hotdogs and 1 mufflers in the centre section.

The V8 rear mufflers obviously have the quad tips, and can produce a different note stand alone, to the single tip V6 ones
