Hi guys
Recently bought this wagon as it seemed a good deal at the time no issues full service history. Previous owner stated on purchase it has sat for a while only being driven here and there to charge the battery.
first issue engine light throttle body
Replaced
Second throttle position switch
Replaced
Third mass air flow sensor
Replaced
Now it’s coming up on the scan tool the mass air flow sensor AGAIN my local mechanic is saying possibly the ECM may need to be replaced. However, I have had no ignition trouble, no trouble at idle or driving daily car sounds and runs perfect.
Engine light just keeps coming on every time something is replaced it’s on again, everything through the scan tool is perfect running order shown and displayed on the screen to me.
is this a common fault for these VE commodores throwing sensors? does it sound like an ECM is fucked or maybe wiring harness may have loose, faulty or worn wire??
What do you guys think already spent 2k on repairs noW mechanic saying a faulty ECM will throw different codes because it’s not reading right
