im only going by what my book says. it says 'XXXXX number HOLDEN built' and i was just assuming it was the major model. im pretty sure it does include all models...

i call it the 'holden bible'. it has info on holdens history, stats on the 'big' car models, build numbers and figures for most (possibly all) models (includes torana, gemini, barnia, rodeo, jackaroo).

im not too sure if it is avalible to buy, there is no barcode on it and we received a free copy as part of a chev show entrants pack. it goes up to VY and i also have an older copy that goes to VT (but im not too sure where it is...

Made 25 Oct 1962 EJ Premier Sedan (Euroa Gold)

50,000 20 Nov 1951 - 48-215
100,000 May 1953 - 48-215
250,000 Jan 1956 - FJ

No but it was built between Jan 1981 and Sep 1981

Not a lot of info on the VC's

so what is holden #0?

The first Holden body was a one off in 1914 built on a Lancia Chassis.

The first Prototype was sold the Holden Forman Arthur Ling
(now at the National Museum of Australia 2004)

The first production was sold to Essington Lewis the Managing Director of BHP on 24/2/49

Heart of the lion : the 50 year history of Australia's Holden / by John Wright is a great wealth of knowledge for all those interested. Check out ya local library. It isn't quite up to date anymore but for those interested in the history of holden and what model's had what features and more statistics than you know what to do with this book is great.
