    i know someones vn ss the just has a better cam and proberly a chip in it thats running 14.9 and a one off 14.5

    mine is a vs clubby 185i auto and it runs 15.0 at 94.8 on da g-tech
    chip and 3inch exhaust 147rwkw

    my fastest time was 13.83 but runs consistant 14.2's

    i ran last night at the quit motorplex, kwinana, perth wa lastnight and my stock vr ss ran 15.5's-15.6's consecutively.

    yeah i know but i was hoping for 15.3,s. she's really chugging in the low end range atm.

    check ur timing and make sure its at 10deg also advance it a little say to 12deg. this will help out with the lack of low end.

    yeah i should hav her serviced b4 i tried times and stuff. atleast now i'll hopefully go forward n not backwards i guess.

    yes you can only go forward (adv cam 2deg)

    remove raidiator, remove water pump housing with access to cam timing chain move crank to 2deg adv use cam dial gauge to reset cam to tdc adjust timing on dizzy to 38 deg adv @ 6000 rpm 38rwkw WILL b the minimum

    how does this mod give you an extra 38rwkw if all it does is lower the rev range of the cam.

    38rwkw by changing the timing of a stock cam in a stock 5 ltr not this lifetime :rofl:
