1/4 mile times

hey guys,
Was wondering what’s everyone’s quickest and fastest 1/4 mile times for an unopened / stock 5.0L engine. VN - VS.

Exhaust mods and things like that are ok, please note what mods the car has auto or manual, but just no engine internal modifications.

E.T and MPH too if possible.

13.8 @ 101,
Auto, 3.45 diff.
VR 355" - a couple of engine mods (but the rocker covers are still stock - everything else engine wise has been touched)

Pretty sure there is already a thread on this somewhere. What have you got and what are you hoping for?

Nice!!! Bone stock 304 with exhaust, cai, 5 speed and 3.7s
Hoping for a 14.0-13.9 @99-100ish
Ran a 14.4 97.8 first time out. Bit of driver error on my part so hoping to knock afew .10ths of next time out!!!

Fill it with 98 and advance the base timing to 12 - 14°BTDC (poor mans tune).

Ran 14.6@95mph stock SV5000 years ago and a VL Walkinshaw went 13.9@101mph just exhaust.

Standard tune to my knowledge.

Stock VN tune is fairly lame, only 25° of timing at WOT.

The SV5000i tune runs almost 30° @ WOT.

Aah ok, when u say tune, I understand now. My tuner did advance the timing a little whilst on the dyno but unsure of a number.
