Just wondering wat Commodores/models had a 1" master cylinder? Wat would be an average price to pay for a second hand one?

Some VK V8s onwards got them. As for price, don't have a clue really.

Would one out of a VN bolt up fine to my VB V8 booster? And are they the same layout as the VB-VL master cylinders, like the lines connect to the same spot?

If I changed to a 1" I can still use a booster which had a 15/16 on it hey?

Ya know after asking a mate at Repco about one, I thought maybe the one in my VQ donor car has one being a 5.0L.....got all excited coz I might of already had one....but nope it just has a 15/16.

You should be able to run the V8 double diaphram booster from the VQ (if it still had it) and find a 1 inch master from a VL-N-P V8 and then you would have pretty good brakes. I had to buy a new booster the other day and there were a few on ebay. There was one booster and 1 inch master combo from a VL V8 it sold for 50 bucks

I've already got the V8 booster, I kept the one which was on my VB. Would I be better using the VQ one, I figured they'd be the same?
