I've never had an issue with showcase. Very rarely use a PC however. 99% of the time it's iOS.

Yep. Bloody bargain, and could have saved a completely fine car from the wreckers.

Does an alternator replacement actually cost anywhere near $800 now !?

It shouldn't but in this small country town the choice of repairers is fairly limited and one in particular charges like a wounded bull, at least 3 times for a part compared to the price you can buy for off eBay and then $95 an hour for labor.

What? error and you can't see/read em?

I think my question is/was this intended as an actual showcase item? or like most threads posted in that section, they are posted incorrectly and we need to move it. A lot of new users end up posting in the first section they see which happens to be the showcase area, the reason regular users won't (or shouldn't) see those is because the section is restricted and nothing shows until it is approved.

As I wasn't seeking advice or trying to swap sell or buy anything I figured showcase was for people to post photos of their ride, that's why I put it there. So as it was moved, what is showcase actually for?

It's for showing off your stuff. I wasn't sure as there was no pic attached when I first checked it. Happy to move it back.

No worries. I did upload an image to the section "cover image" but didn't realise I needed to upload it again into the body of the post. No need to move it, I'll just put it down to my learning the forum better.

And now you have a ride thread to keep all the viewers at home updated on your experiences with this.

If you purchase a genuine and pay $130p/h to have it fitted.

Thanks. Bloody hell.

I used to do my own and then would get a break on labour so I've lost track.
Pension means everything seems expensive but that really has surprised me.

Ebay gear can be a gamble if the mechanic has to guarantee the work.

I'm in a one shed tiny town. Lucky the local bloke will be flexible for locals.
