Yeah link does not work...But 1500hp? That really does have to be B/S...as is 59psi...
I've looked at records of the most powerful Skylines, Supras and WRX's before and none came close to that mark?

thats not bullshit, ive seen em with 1400hpw racing track setup on Tskuba circuit Japan. Have a dvd of one of them with wet weather tyres doing a qtr mile in the rain and pulling a 10 sec pass in the wet!!! That was a Nissan GTR but. They also do a 300kph test where their cars are too powerful for the qtr mile that they now time themselves to see who is quickest to 300kph and the record is a GTR Godzilla R33 with 14.9 seconds. Insane eh!

Theres that CV8Z Monaro drag car that does 0-400km/h in 6 seconds...sounds a bit more interesting to me....But its quarter mile time is 6 seconds also.....Its not the normal Gen III of course.

    Hey Kwik6

Thanks for the back up mate :D

Yea that is insane. But i was watching this DVD my mate had about "TEAM TITAN" (Not to sure if thats there name. There from the US) but they specialise in the 1993 + Toyota Supra models.
They had one that ran the quarter at 6.67sec @220mp/h!!!
Now thats insane!! Thats about 352km/h!!!
It still has its 2JZ-GTE in it (JUST HEAVILY.. and i MEAN HEAVILY MODIFIED) And its normal body shell too!
I'll try get the DVD off my mate and theres an article about it to, i'll try look for it.

    Cheers,
    MAK :D

my ex car was an R33 gtst, some people might have recognised it as the burgundy rocket with the bonnet scoop over the air filter with 5 inch tubing coming off the bonnet and into the air filter. I ran a 12.8 @ 109mph with it and i was still using the standard turbo. I currently drive a vn sedan v6 and i tell ya, no commodore comes close to a skylines driveability. Its all about the technology though. Japan was way too advanced for australia in 1995 when the series 2 skyline r33 came out.

    So true mate.
Look at it now. Holden is now only slow catching up with its LS1's and LS2's.
    These LS1's and LS2's would probally give a good run NOW to 1993 + Skyline's, Supra's etc.
But if these cars (SUPRA's, SKYLINE's, and other Jap imports) continued into production up until this day.... Only GOD knows what these cars would be capable of....

    Cheers,
    MAK :D

I was tryin to compare tho, as you said they were 'too powerful' for the 1/4 mile...
Im not sayin the car isnt quick cause its obviously f***ing fast, faster than anything i've seen in person by far...And i dont doubt the 8.45 or watever quarter mile.

But is 59psi realistic? And with 1502rwhp wouldnt it be quicker than that 1/4 mile?
Theres the Rigoli WRX here in Aus that has half as much power at the rear wheels, but still pulls a 1/4 mile time just as quick

very true. although if i had the opportunity i would rather have a $70,000 Supra with 800hpw turbo and all engine mods done to it and run a 10 sec pass than a stock $70,000 XU8 and run a 13 sec pass lol Still with all the driving comforts too!!

the Dean Rigoli red WRX is a gutted out car which weighs only 800kg and is not a street registerable car. On the other hand this supra is. Plus rigoli ran 200hpw shot of nitro for it before it blew up. The supra is designed for top speed more than qtr mile time as it is a very heavy car. Imagine if that supra was gutted out and weighed 800kg!!!!! it would pull off a 6 second pass
