"...lol i would just love the opportunity to have $70,000..." LOL... i second that .. JUST IMAGINE WHAT YOU COULD DO WITH IT.....
Or we could get a Suzuki Swift GTi thats only 800kg stock and fully do that up! Wait...what am i thinking :b: :b: :b: :b: :b: :b: :b: :b: :b: :b: God i hate swifts...
well i know of a twin engined 84 model peugeot in france that runs 0-100 in 2.8 seconds. and both its engines are 800hpw powering each set of axles. It was designed for hillclimbs. Thats insane i think. Imagine the g forces in that!!
check this out http://www.topsecretjpn.com/gallery.shtml http://www.wotm.com/multimedia.html the second link has lots of times and dyno runs. 1400hpw+++ supras beating turboed suzuki gsxr 1000!!!
Not bad, the HKS Supra was pretty damn fast from what I remember, but it was also tubbed and caged and stripped. People seem to forget that its not just how much power you have when it comes to getting down the 1/4, tyres, suspension, traction, transmission, weight. Just because he's pumped out 1500+ at 59psi on a dyno doesn't mean he's going to take it out and run it down the strip, I'd imagine it'd get crossed up before you could say 'overnight parts from japan' Boost would still be high would power would be tuned heaps lower to allow for more traction and a faster time. As said about the Rigoli wrx, 4wd, stripped from what I remember, half the power, 1/4 of the weight, with an extra 2 wheels getting the power to the ground.
Not once in that clip do they show a power fiqure or a quarter mile time. Using the Moroso PSC they are running over 2000hp at the flywheel (calc doesnt even go that high), based on its weight running 1100 flywheel hp they should be running an 8 flat. Add the extra power they have and we are talking a 7 second pass................which that was not. AirStrike :air:
As I said Airstrike, just because your making that much power, doesn't mean your going to utilize it running down a 1/4, nor does that program calculate traction issues/ wheel size etc.
Thats correct, its based apon perfect traction. BUT it still doesnt look as quick as it should be, and I see no loss of traction in the film, no wheel spin, no axle tramp.......... The moroso slide calculator is always fairly spot on so I trust it more than I do some dodgy video. AirStrike :air:
Rigoli WRX is RWD buddy...Its been converted. The AWD system cannot handle that much power....dont remember the exact reason but I could find out if you really wanted me to
i was gonna say thats bullshit but after lookin at the drag race :S sure could be the front wheels r lifted almost the entire length of the track!
Front wheel is up till around the 60ft mark...................but 90/10 shocks ill do that. AirStrike :air:
Airstrike dont forget that video was taken while cruisin at around 100kph as far as i saw it. they were on a freeway. so yeah to accelerate that quick from that speed it must be bloody quick. it covered another qtr mile passing that guy filming in 3 seconds, count it yourself after he accelerates.
yes they would. Just de-tuned for production. Once u buy it u un de-tune it lol. Like take of the 5 mufflers and 4 air filters and 3 cats etc... lol
3 second quarters hey.........guess victor bray must be shitting himself! How was it a freeway? There are grandstands and a christmas tree? AirStrike :air:
