    hey,
i got a vs ute with sl's in it? (refer to pic) and im getting some rims for it soon. Im undecided as to if i should get 17s or 18s, as im still a noob driver and will prob go off the odd gutter or two.:whistling Would 18s provide enough side wall for sufficient protection?

just after some advice.. the rims im looking at are apec Volt, if anybody has these rims, or has a picture of a commodore fitted with these could you please post so i can see how they would look, and so i can see the difference in sidewall and looks from 17" to 18"

    Thanks

there'll be virtually no difference in damage between 17s and 18s

tyre prices aren't much different either so don't let that bother you

definitely go the 18s mate, you'll be much happier with them

you still get gutter rash with 16's... just ask my friend who I will never allow to drive my car again :p

    Personally, I'd go 17s

Cant really tell the difference between 17s and 18s and cheaper and longer lasting tyres

id go 17s to keep it legal. not worth gettin defected or insurance void after a crash just for 1 inch.
