Im pretty sure theres SSSL, then ultras, unless they are the same thing... Dunno

I had SL's and 19"s in my VY and no probs at all

Doesnt matter if you a P plater, height laws are the same for all cars, driver licences status.

    Almost.

    In the Kings range its:

    L - Low
    SL - Super Low
    SSL - Super Super Low
SSSL - You get the idea Low but these are also refered to as Ultra.

    BUT.

Some places refer to the SSL springs as ultra... so its better to say you're after SSL or SSSL as that's in the part number.

    In terms of Legality.

SSL you might just scrape through with... I had SL front and SSSL rear... at the cats I had about 95mm clearance... So SSL you should just have enough.

Though if you get a copper who knows whats going on... he could say you haven't retained 2/3 of the factory suspension travel. Which is from the car sitting notmal till the bump stops are touching... and this also makes the car not road worthy, it's called as a major defect and you will get a canary.

Also... make sure you get a camber kit... VT's are known for chewing through tyres because of their chronic camber issue.

SSL and 19's... you will need a deep pocket without a camber kit and even with... it still won't look after tyre's all that great.

    Good luck mate.

I agree to confusing. They all need to stick to the basic names.

    Low
    SL
    SSL
    SSSL.

the king spring catalogue state they only have 2 types for vt/vx springs which is sl/ultra.... the ultra being the part number SLHD. i got them on mine, but i dont think they are really ultralow because the ass of my calais sits up a bit high... even though there is about 60-70mm clearance under the exhaust at the diff :/

The only have 2 springs that are for street use.

And SLHD springs... are same height as SL... but HD so Heavy Duty... so good for towing and stuff... basically... they are a bit stiffer than regular SL's.

and 60-70mm under the diff... lol... so i should have had about... 20mm with triples... lol.

You should get you're diff mounts checked if thats the case with those springs mate...
