Ok i have bought another car and this will be the last, im getting rid of my vk to get this vb. im basically doing the same thing i was going to do to the vk, and put a stroker motor in it,

it has a fair bit of rust in the window sill, a hole in the spare wheel well, and some other spots. its a red 202 that runs a bit dodgy on start but when it worms up its runs beautifully, the trimatic is amazing, you dont even hear or feel it change speeds, and the seats and door cards are mint, they are like brand new and sooo comfy.

so im going to use it as a daily driver and weld some of that rust up and when im finished building the motor for it i will drop the 355 stroker in it.

the paint is a very dodgy brush paint job, i dont want to know what could be under it

Edit: I made a mistake, its not and SL its a base model Commodore

What's the old saying? "Nothing but potential":p

Ha ha, na I really like it!
It's as if the body doesn't belong to that interior though. It's an up spec mint interior in a base model shell that seen a bit of neglect.?

Fix body and drop in a 355 and it will be a fantastic ride:D

lots of work ahead by the look of it, that brushed paint job might come up mint with a good buff lol ;)
interior does look surprisingly good. Strange for a base model to have that interior colour too, especially with a white body colour. I wonder if someone has replaced the interior ?

boot floor doesn't look too bad from the photo either, usually they are stuffed if the boot seal has been leaking

sounds like a good project though!

First thing im gonna do is weld up some of the rust, get new door seals, put a p/s rack in it and get a rwc and rub back the paint and do a back yard paint job

My thoughts also I'd be suprised if that is that cars original interior..

Sexy interior but!

Yeah, When i was looking for a car, all of them had horrible rust, worse than yours, I'm thankful its only a few spots that i have rust. Your lucky you can just cut and weld from one car to another.

Obviouslly have some skills as well will be good to see it once you have put in the new boot.
