This is my new VK and yes i am keeping the other one :p

Picked this up for a cheap price so just planning to restore it and paint it and keep it as a stock interceptor minus the paint of course.

Still has all the police mounts and wiring for the lights and sirens in it but they were removed by the 2nd owner.

I am the 5th owner of this and only the 3rd one to drive it since the police :p

Hasn't been driven or registered since 2005 and has been sitting and thats why its so dirty.

Drives nicely though :p

This is what happens to a fuel tank after sitting for 5 years and you go to move it, you find ####ing holes.

Nice dodgy fix to get it less the 5km from his place to mine though.

Yes that is Gas Tank Repair and bluetak :p

Got 2 more fuel tanks at home anyway so will just change it out and put a new one in.

And photo of the stock police exhaust, twin off the headers into them middle muffler and single out the back.

nah since its not a stamped BT1 since the SA ones weren't stamped and i hate that colour after seeing it on every VK and VL in melbourne these days :p

Not sure what colour im gonna paint it yet, considering a few but the rest of the car is staying as is minus a tidy up since its a good pick up to keep for the future

That and i can go to down destroying my other one which isn't a collectible :p

Well the gas is gone for good :)

Gave it a wash today as well to get rid of 5 years of cobwebs and dirt off it, still needs a good scrub later on but alot better now.

Lines and tank are gone and ripped out all the wiring and **** for it, even found the guage for it stuffed up under the steering column which i didn't know was there.

Flushed the oil and radiator and put a new thermostat and oil filter.

Removed the stupid ass petrol solenoid that the gas tools had put in and cut the fuel lines without flaring them, stuck a filter in where it was since i didn't have enough hose to get across it atm since shops are closed.

Got the proper air cleaner on it with a new filter, need to get a hose for the blowby off the rocker cover when i cbf.
