[1985 VK] Newly Purchased VK [1985 VK]

Hey guys, I just spent $1,250.00 on a near-mint, all original VK; in my eyes.

I was just wondering about your opinions on what I should do with it. I personally want to make it a Black Group A Mock-Up, but all my family members and friends are against the decision and keep telling me to keep it all original.

(I just want some opinions from the community)

Pictures: (Car has since been polished and detailed, not a single scratch or dent on it now; completely straight)

(No bay pics yet, but it appears to be all original other than a new exhaust.)

if it's just a base model, then it's not like it's a collectable car.
if you have plans for it, then go for it I say.

Mod it not valuable but a great find and the best start for a project

Mate If the body, paint and interior is that good I would leave that basically untouched but update the engine transmission, diff, suspension, wheels and brakes. It is a massive job to change the colour of the car and do it right.

I'm sick of fake vk ss' myself but go nuts, it's not a collectable car so don't worry about changing it.

Drop in a efi 5.0 out of a vn it's a simple conversion and you can pretty much buy a vn 5.0 and transfer all the running gear over.... k frame bolts up you'll have both looms aswell, if you use a borg warner diff it needs to be modified or it will be to wide... cheap easy fun.

buy a clapped out black VK Group A and then swap all the good bits from this over to it.
