05 Senator submitted a new Showcase Item:

1987 Holden Calais

87 VL calais. Originally an auto non turbo. The RB25DET motor and gearbox was put in before i bought the car. It had a full original interior bar the racing seats when i got it but now has a sports steering wheel and shift knob and the stock radio removed.

I have since lowered it and tidied up the back end (new taillights and I refurbed garnish and painted the black moulding across the boot). I did have an after market computer and piggyback boost controller in but it didn't run very well. I think part of the problem was a crappy tune job and stock VL fuel system. I now run just the standard computer and a cheap tee boost controller.
