Sick ride man great work with the car its deffinetly a show car love that body kit and your paint work must of cost ya!! good 2 see another adelaide vn that detailed!! good luck for the rest of your mods!!
I've put the brakes off a bit longer as I got the opportunity to buy the subs that i've been wanting for a while now... Soundstream decided to bring only 2 of the 15" into Australia so I grabbed both They just arrived at Motoquipe too: I'll do the brakes after these then get started on re-doing the sound system with a proper boot install so these subs won't be in the car for a good 3 months. But if anyone is interested my old subs in their enclosure will be up for sale just after New Years Also..Im not sure what brand amps to run... The soundstream amps would be good but they're a bit big for the boot install and they're expensive... I can get audiobahn amps cheap so they're the other option and the ones im looking at are smaller buttt im not sure how much they'll effect the sound quality or if they actually produce the power that they claim... So anyone with any opinions... Shoot!
nice man sub should sound great. i reckon dont skimp out on the amp, as if you go for a cheaper one chances are you will just wanna upgrade to a better sounding one down the track
the kenwood monoblock range are excelent value for money!!1800 watt monoblock for $600 and they are small(ish) in size and ive got 2 mates and myself with them and none have had problems
I took a look at the Kenwood website but its only 1800watts max power, im looking for 1800watts RMS, but a 2000watt rms amp would probably make it easier. None of the Kenwood amps pump out that much power though
Just looked back at the pics with the old vn headlights/front, looked a bit out of place. Looks awesome now though, good work
Hey mate she is looking pretty good, I like what you done with the switch for the DVD. just wondering where you got the switch from, brand etc..? I've been looking for something similar. keep up the good work. cheers
are they the xxx15 soundstream subs? have you looked at the soundsstream amps i now theres some that push like 3000watts not sure if thats rms or not didnt look well
i got 2 soundstream amps at the right price ($90 at chaple st coles) didnt ask questions! 4ch and a 2ch and out of every amp ive owned i havnt heard a smoother bass line or sharper treble as i have with these! mint sound company! i just wish that all there sales reps werent greedy rats who charge an arm and a leg now that soundstream is a repitable brand
I got it from Jaycar Electronics man, you need an SPDT switch or DPDT, but the DPDT one I got from Jaycar was the best I could find. Was like $4.95
Nah Soundstream R1 subs man, they're the new flagship SQ woofer. The XXX 15 is 8500 watts RMS, so I would love one though Or the XXX 18 which is 10,000watts RMS!!! But then you gotta mortgage your house to afford an amp to run them
