Sherbrook green metallic mate, thats the colour! Isnt your VR the same colour again lol?

Nice easy way to get all those luxuries you were after Brendan, good thinking!

Good move doing the MAT sensor while it's out, this'll go hand in hand nicely with a mafless tune!

Trim looks awesome too!

Keen to read more dude!

well the L67 is in now, should be driveable tomorrow if I can get the exhaust hooked up ok. Otherwise it's a tilt tray ride into town for a full exhaust system.

Sherbrooke Green Metallic, thats it. VR 'was' that colour, but had been resprayed at some stage, was quite a dark green.

Yeah, for the $25 for the MAT sensor, and the $50 to get it drilled and tapped, along with the coolant temp sensor, it was hardly worth not doing it. All the wiring is there now too, all the way to the ECU. So hopefully it can all be put to good use soon.

well doesn't look like the exhaust y pipe will line up past the transmission crossmember. So its I've got to make the desision whether to get full exhaust done now, or just a twin cat y-pipe. I'll talk to the engineer and see whats going to be best for now cause i'm pretty sure i'm going to need to get an emmisions test done. So it might be a while before i can actually drive it

Why do you need to get an emissions test done?

not 100% sure, but going to need to get it engineered for the L67, brakes etc, so I'm not sure if I'll get sent for an emissions test or not. i'm hoping not.

Car is on the road.

Got custom Y-pipe made up during the week.

Got a few little problems to sort out, passengers side extractor is knocking on the body in first and second gear when accelerating, and i've got a vibration coming from somewhere, possibly front left, seems to be road speed related.

Interior wise, need to sort out console, not happy with the stock manual surround, I want something classy again, looking at a S3 Stato centre console, looks like it will be easier to modify to make work.
Other than that it's running like a charm.

Put it on the dyno yesterday at a local dyno comp, 150-odd rwkw. pretty happy with that, considering it's only got an 87mm pulley, 1.9:1 rockers and a manual.
