Hey guys,

Just picked up my new ride.

VS Statesman HSV Enhanced 185i. Completely stock. elderly owner.

Needs new suspension (knocks and creaks)
Needs new exhaust (Factory one and it leaks

Interior is immaculate, Done about 220k
No towbar :surprise:

looks awesome and it's white too! it's the best colour for any statesman to be. VR/VS statesmans make my pants tight.

my only critique, please remove that spoiler, they look horrible on the square back end. also consider loosing the stickers and extra badges and consider loosing the pinstripes too. it's a luxury car and it's supposed to be simple and refined.

Yes lol, the spoiler will be going and the pin striping. these photo's were literally taken an hour after i bought her home.., gna spend the day on her today

Just removed the mudflaps, the gay apple sticker and redlegs sticker, fixed the groaning steering (gromet was perished at the firewall) Buffed out a few scratches.. going for a run to bunnings to get plugs for the spoiler holes for when i remove it.

Just a note on water and the boot lid, the vr/vs don't really seem to suffer from leaking rear quarter windows like the commodores of the day did but water tends to pool behind the boot garnish and if left over time the boot lid can rust out from the inside along the bottom so just make sure you seal the holes up good.

My VR statey suffers from water pooling behind the garnish after heavy rain.

No leaks or moisture and the underside of the bootlid and the surrounding areas are perfect :cheers:
