1997 SII VS Executive
Just recently bought my first car which will hopefully be on the road when i sit for my Ps on may 6
The story behind the car is that my uncle(mechanic) had a customer come in with this vechile that had done a head gasket, being an older car, wasnt worth a customer paying the money for a reco or rebuild of the motor
so my uncle bought it for 700$ with 8 months rego on it
So my uncle rang me, and we bought a reco motor with 136ks on the clock
so we took the motor out, cleaned every square inch of the car, cut and polished so ill be able to see my face, which it came up a million bucks, and then dropped the motor, and you know what, i have a car with low ks, perfect body on it for under 2grand

just had super lows on it last thursday which it sits very good. i have attached some pics for you to have a geeza at
in the market for vs ss interior, any ideas on what sort of prices i should be looking at?
also installed neon set in the car,
4 6inch in front foot wells,
and under the front seats in which are pointed into the rear foot wells
come up very good which the switch is placed in the glove box. was alot easy than expected.

anything else i should be doing to make it abit more of a looker? minus rims!

personnally i dont like it
i find i want to change it to a straight red light on the back
so it matches up with the rear tail lights!

It isn't a sleeper the way you have described you want it. If it was lowered a lilttle bit more, or even kept at the height it is now, PLUS you had extensive engine work, THAN it would be a sleeper. Making it look good without doing anything to the engine will not make your car a sleeper, however, it will feel like your car is sleepy off the line compared to if it did have a few performance mods

well you get my drift anyway haha, but im not looking to make it for the drag strip, just want something reliable, with a bit of punch, and something that looks and sounds good(exhaust and stereo).

Yeah man, most people don't build their cars for the drag strip, they just want a good all round streeter/daily. Have a look through the my ride section, many people of gained considerable performance on their cars without spending a bucketload. IMO for your car, just stick with CAI, exhaust as you already have and than maybe later on extractors and tune. Will give you good benfits out of a 6 and won't cost a whole lot either.
