cant understand why toyota would go with the less efficient Bi-turbo setup with such a compelling argument.

I know. To be getting 700 rwhp he'd be running a t88 i imagine.

hello lag city. guy on supra fourms has 600 rwkw with a t88. he hits boost at close to 6000rpm

My choices so far have been narrowed to.

Decent single = gt35r/t51r
Decent twin = 2 x gt2860r's

Just sold a few things on Egay. So keep posted.

my vote is going for twins. for a street car with some manners twins are the way to go. see if you cant get rid of some of the horrible dead area that all 2J's have. sort the fuel delivery side of things out (if it hasnt been already) then slowly move up in boost. at least yours is manual. autos seem to lag like homosapiens.

is this the anologue clock on the interior, or the digital one?

It had the digital clock, however my boost gauge has now replaced it. What does having either or indicate.

And my clutch arrived in Hawaii today, so I'm guessing it will be here next week some time.

analogue clock means its a series 2 and may have the vvti engine. i was trying to do some sneaky detective work cos' i couldnt tell from the bay pic. im pretty sure the series 2's were on the cusp of 95 then 96 but could be horribly wrong with my dates.

Nah your right. Its a series 1 with series 2 tail lights.

This car needs an exhaust badly though.
