My mate bought this back in 2010 lowered with an exhaust and 19”s in mint condition.

He drove it on and off for a few years but it was mostly his second car so didn’t rack up too many ks. He did not however do much maintenance at all. For the last couple of years it sat outside neglected under a tree.

I was in the state for work in 2018 so got it going and drove it around for a few weeks. It was in below average condition and needed some real attention. Bottom line is I fell in love with it.

I was never a Holden man but I enjoyed fixing it up and flogging it around so bought it off him and left it at my parents in Vic.

In between trips down south it took me 6 months of googling and replacing parts left right and center to fix a ridiculous amount of engine problems. I essentially replaced everything fuel, spark and cooling related.

Ended up getting it shipped up North mid 2019. Since then I’ve done over 10 years worth of neglected maintenance and lots of my own mods. It's been a good learning curve and enjoying/frustrating process that never seems to end.

It currently stands as follows.

Exterior
- Herron White
- VT GTS 18" champagne wheels
- 235/40/18 Bridgestone Potenza RE003

I got it with these 19s that were hideous and drove like utter **** on 100 kms worth of the back country roads I was driving weekly so swapped them out. I also got pulled over the first night I drove through Daylesford for clear taillights and how loud it was. They let me off luckily so I swapped them out with the 17s to reduce the cop attention.

This is when I started cleaning it up.

Yeah I'm happy with it. I think it's the first car I've owned that I will actually get my money back for one day. Also loving driving a manual V8 around!

I agree, looks good and ticks quite a few box's
Strange it never had electric windows from the factory though.
Was electric windows SS or Olympic only?
I’m a bit late but yeah nice...
