How are those 3.7s going for you? I was speaking to a mate of mine about getting an L67 for my S1 Calais and he mentioned this sweet white Calais that was at his work for some diff gears.

Im pretty much looking to do the same thing as yours (hopefully) after seeing Darryl's S2 in action and your car in the build.

Cheers mate, the brown Commodore is a VB not a VC lol.

I would strongly advise against swapping the top end over, its certainly possible but the L67's main strength is it bottom end, where it is suited to forced induction by way of lower compression pistons. I did a full engine swap from a S3 Statesman.

Yeah i recon, those mods will be on hold for a little while but im certainly keen to score some VE SS-V's as soon as i can.

Yeah it was at Wangara Automatics last week getting the LSD and 3.7 gears, I like Gary, he always does the right thing by me so i will always take my cars to him. Does your mate work there? Im loving the gears, by far the best performance mod ive done to the car so far.

I was up in Kalgoorlie 2 week ends ago, i took Darryl's for a drive to see what the 3.45 gears were like with a mini-spool. He let me lighten the rear rubber abit also :yeah: Top bloke, always keen to help out.

Yeah a guy named Luke. Pretty sure thats where he works. Now to keep saving and start searching for a Statesman or even Calais wreck to get an L67 from. Id like to have it done before Powercruise but that might be me getting way ahead of myself. :p
