[Ecotec] 2 Hole Air Intake Mod - VX Equipe Running Dual Fuel - I Need Some Help Please!

Okay so first thing I'm new to the whole forum thing. So sorry if this is in the wrong place or something.

But my question is In want to do the 2 hole air intake mod to my VX Equipe.

1. I am wondering if there are any negative effects from this mod?
2. It is a dual fuel car will I run into any problems running LPG with this mod?
3. Also from research I see that this mod is mostly done on VZ commodores. This still works with a VX air-box correct?

no point at all doing it to a stock ecotec on dual fuel.

Can I ask why?

Mostly wanting to do it because I'm bored and want a cheap and easy mod and from what I've heard it sounds pretty good too.

I mostly drive on unleaded 98. Would just like to know if it will still run fine on LPG.

Because the factory airbox can suck in more than enough air for an unmodified engine. And if you have a look at the intake of the air intake, its already a "Cold Air Intake".

No prob with the mod

Might be better then stock during hot days as could get better air.

98ron though. You done a tank comparison to 95ron and 91ron?
I don't see the benefits.

Think I might go ahead with the mod for something to do and a bit of fun.

Inspect air filter also whilst there, connections, screws on hoses etc.

I have side holes on my air box, large ones that can draw air from side of quarter panel and also heat reflective tape on it.

Does it do anything? Maybe. But does get cooler air so yeh though I reckon from sides

i said don't bother because all you are doing is adding another place to suck extra dirt into a filter and not gain anything extra because of it.
