Hey all,

I've got a few questions.

1. If i wanted to replace the the boot gas struts would it be best if i climbed in to the boot while it were closed and then took them off so it's easier to reinstall the new ones, or would be be best to have the boot open ?

and secondly, I got my ariel replaced my a mechanic not that long ago and it seems to not want to go down again, could someone recommend something for me to do to lubricate it with or something that I could do to make it go fully down again?

Thanks

1. Best to do with boot open, just use a piece of wood to hold the boot lid open!

2. Is the aerial manual or electric? Best to use either silicon spray or a very small amount of oil
