Just throwing up some pictures of the car after I gave it a wash today. Only had it about a week now, plenty of work has to be put in, but its a pretty good starting point. Always wanted a black SS commodore, so here we go.

Year - 2001. November build.
Model - VX Series II, SS.
Engine - 5.7L LS1 with 175000km.
Paint - Phantom Black. K025.
Transmission - Automatic.
Interior - Basic cloth SS interior. Red in colour.
Additional - Sunroof.

Current modifications:
- Monaro bonnet.
- 17" chrome rims.
- Full aftermarket exhaust system.
- Lowered all around on king springs.
- Debagded, excl. SS and 5.7L badges.
- Aftermarket speakers in doors, and headdeck.
- Painted calipers.

Future modifications:
- 20" rims. Leaning towards supersports.
- Thinking about removing monaro bonnet.
- Mafless tune.
- Different plate style, to suit the black more.
- Still working out a lot of what is to come. Still have the new car attachment.

Thanks mate, definitely needs a set of 20s or 19s. Supersports would be unreal, but Im on apprentice wages so might have to cheap out for now. Whats the opinions on the monaro hood? Im tossing up whether it looks badass, or too much?

Looks tops man. 2 things I would recommend, remove the spoiler, vt/vx look way smoother without spoilers, hence the name SPOILER ;), also your current exhaust tip is HUGE lol. Id go with a 3" chrome twin tip kind if like mine. As for the bonnet, I actually dont mind it, the black kind of blends it in a little bit, but upto you if you want it gone.

Edit: also, get more chrome features, chrome on black looks mint. Thick Calais chrome door moulds, chrome exterior door handles, chrome grill ect.. I dont like chrome wheels though lol

Definitely getting rid of the current exhaust tip ASAP, lol. Chrome mouldings around the windows is an idea actually. I've never put it on myself, any idea of how much of a job that actually is?
