The only way is with compatible scantool or take it to Holden. You are not able to read the codes any other way.

are u sure i can flash the codes up on my dash for my vx ss surly they arnt that much different?

I thought I was sure, but I'm open to be corrected. How do you do it? Bridging pins 5 and 6 doesn't work for me.

yeah thats what i did bridge 5 and 6 turn the key on and the abs light flashes the errors, maybe your computer is different i would have thought it was similar tho.

Mode and up as you turn on the key to accessories/ start brings up self diagnostic.
