Paint can be fixed (shame it sagged) and the other stuff too.
All is not lost, with a bit of TLC it can be better than it ever was.

Dam !!! , sounds like had some bad luck with it over the years.
Personally I'd take a bit of time to consider moving it on = ( they starting to be worth a bit), ( but I also understand when you're over it = just want to move on and a fresh start).

Hearing some of your unfortunate issues/ incidents makes me appreciate mine ( and I've been fortunate with mine).
Picked up my phantom mica, 6 speed one about 4 months before you acquired yours.
While mine has had to do some daily duties, it's never been a daily .
And because of this and the mods I have = I never tire of using when = ( these days fortunately I decide to use).
