2002 VU commodore compatible gearboxes?

Hi didn't know where else to post this. I'm looking at a cheap 2002 VU commodore where they guy says it doesn't go into 3rd at high rpm its probably something wrong with the synchronizers would be my guess but I'm not advanced enough to pull them out and put them back. So i'm thinking of picking it up cheap and putting a rebuilt gearbox in it and i'm trying to find out if other gearboxes from other model commodores like: Vr Vs Vt Vx Vy will fit into it or not or mayby this one which I was looking at: Commodore VS V6 T5 5 Speed Gearbox | eBay sorry if this is a realy obvious post or in the wrong spot.

The Getrag 5 speed is the only box that will fit in your VU without modification.
