i just had it in at the mechanics 2 days ago they replaced the coilpack, spark plugs, 2 front tyers, heater tap, top struts, and they done a weel alignment

not sure if that has caused this also think my fuel gauge is faulty aswell

VZ Crewman, VZ Cross 8, & ya mum.
ABS fault has many causes but historically is normally the module. Sensors on the hubs, loom plugs, are a possibility.
Get a second hand module and have it fitted.

Co-incidental.

The fuel gauge, cross that when you get to it.

They might've damaged a sensor wire doing the strut tops.

I seem to remember having this happen 10-15 yrs ago.

I think I just unbolted the sensors, cleaned them and refitted.

create a new post.
do not dig up an old one that is not relevant to your problem.
but to answer your question, check the bulb.
