Yeah definitely needs foglights which aren't far away, but others things are coming first.

Yeah SLs are what I'll get it, I really dislike my rims though. Problem is they have new tyres so it'd be a waste

From first post:

First thing I did was pull out the dodgy stereo sub/amp that wasn't even connected.

The wiring done by the previous owners is ridiculous, I'm going to have to cut the whole Loom and start again.

Anyway Pictures below, before I wash it they're just ****

The wiring done by the previous owners is ridiculous, I'm going to have to cut the whole Loom and start again.

Ok lets start this from the top.

1) you better keep this :p stop changing cars all the time, if this ends up like your Blue VY i will hit you in the balls with a cattle prod a few dozen times on maximum voltage.

2) we think its a 3.08 non lsd, looks like its been changed at some stage so who knows.

3) agreed, they are ####ing **** rims.

4) agreed, person who wired it's a ####ing moron.

5) Engine parts, you forgot the rear main i'll have to put in at the same time as i install the rest of it as well on that list :p

6) Body parts, don't ditch the spoiler, putting the rear window brake light in is annoying as ****, especially since the rear window glass is probably different, foglights was a bit pointless since the car has no fog-light loom, should've saved cash and got the blanks but meh will look better even if they dont work, you also forgot the big scuff/scratch on the front bar since i assume the front ends been knocked before based on the 2nd hand bumper and the **** headlights that were on it.

7) Suspension, Meh SSL or go home, also get KYB shocks, we've have killed to many munroe shocks over the years, there quality has really gone downhill compared to 10 years ago, that or just put XYZ coil overs in, as for brakes, DBA T2s with some EBC Reds or QFM A1RM pads.

8) interior, first, steam clean your seats, they are filthy, second, buy the new headunit already and get some stinger RCA set, might as well put them in at the same time, speaker grilles are annoying to install, go to the wreckers and just get a parcel shelf with them factory installed for like $20 bucks, looks neater and saves a headache of cutting the holes perfect to have them sit properly.

9) and finally, what do you mean YOU are going to have to cut the whole stereo loom out and start again :p i'm pretty sure that I'm going to have to do that and make new termination connection blocks up behidn the dash with a loom extention to where we can actually plug the new headunit in neatly., also buy the new headunit already.

1 - I should hahaha! I like change too much. The ute was the best thing I've had though, but can't justify the loan again.

2 - I have 3.7 LSD diff on the cards from the same builder as last time

5 - I bought the rear main seal today :p

6 - Foglights were needed. They look better and they're cheaper than the covers, even if they don't work for the time being. The bar on the other hand.. yeah one day it'll get looked into.

7 - XYZ was on my mind but it's a temp list for now

8 - The seats aren't that bad suprisingly lol. My speaker holes have already been cut from the knob who put in 6x9's before me (and only one works cuz they wired them both on one RCA lol). I was actually talking about the door cards, every door speaker grill has a massive chunk taken out. Usually you get one or maybe two little cracks, but they're all ####ed. Might just get new door cards, but for now it's a work in process

9 - I can cut the whole loom and match it all myself, I just don't know how to pull back the dash that far back to get all the way back in the loom lol. I had to re-do the VT when i bought that and that was a huge mess too.. Not quite as bad though.

Anyway for updates, I ordered new 02 Sensors and foglights as of last night which should be here later in the week.

I fitted up my new cluster glass today and I am more than happy, it's SO clear compared to that stained old glass that was in there.

Well since I know everyone loves updates, I got these in the mail this week and I fitted up my foglights today:

I've also updated the first page... Which should all be done soonish!

This weekend is planned to have the following changed:

Short shifter
Clutch
Clutch slave cylinder
Rear Main seal
Rear extension housing seal
Tailshaft centre bearing
Rear swaybar bushes
1.9 Roller rockers (if they arrive)

It's all happening. I don't think I'm missing anything for the time being, but should be all good :)

Where's the inlet manifold gasket, rocker cover gaskets and valve springs? as i said why bother having to remove the rockers again to do the valve springs later along with new rocker cover gaskets again :p.

Also you Forgot, Gearbox oil flush, clutch system flush and diff oil change from the list.

Don't forget to bring the Jack Daniels and it better be cold :p

As discussed, don't need valve springs at the moment.

I'm still undecided on the diff ratio, either get 3.46 and have it at 2350rpm @ 100kph or get 3.7 and have 2550rpm @ 100kph.

Currently sits at 2100rpm at 100kph so not much higher..

I'm actually leaning more towards 3.7s.

Ended up picking up rocker cover gaskets and inlet manifold gaskets today, don't need to steal yours and replace them that way lol

Picked up my supercharged headers today and just ordered the 200cpsi cats

Big Update;

Today with my brother and a mate we replaced the following:

New Bonnet struts
Mace 1.9 Roller rockers
New tail shaft centre bearing
New Tailshaft rubber donut
New Gearbox mounts
New clutch + flywheel
New gearbox slave cylinder
Rear swaybar bushes (well half, we only got supplied one side so chasing seller on that one)
Rear main seal

Couldn't do the rear gearbox seal as we didn't have a 30mm socket in a hex to undo it so it'll have to be done at a later date.

Car drives pretty smooth and better.

LSD Diff and exhaust will be done later this week, Raptor charger ordered this week hopefully also :)
