I am new to this so please be patient :)
If anyone could help that would be great. the power shift and normal shift are switching on and off by themselves the "PWR" button does not work at all hoping it is just the button and not something to do with the computer :( any advise would be great, we have spent way to much on this car lately

I can't help but I'd like to add a funny story relating to the power button on an automatic Commodore. My missus had a dealer tell her that when you press the power button it puts a short burst of extra fuel into the engine to make it go harder and also that the car (VS wagon) would get 900Km to the tank around town.

Sounds like the switch has died or there is a fault in the wiring going to it. The switch should not cost much

If it is activated there should be a PWR symbol on the instrument screen. It does not increase power as spme believe but merely changes the shift positions in the trqansmission. Makes gear changes occur a little earlier.

I do not need to bump the button, it works all by itself. Constantly on the instrument screen normal shift then to power shift then to normal shift and so on. you can feel it change while driving.

Someone may have spilt liquid on the button causing it to short internally.

Try unplugging the button and see if the fault stops.

I am sorry to post on my original question, however I need to ask a simple question. I have had the fuel module replaced before Christmas and now my fuel consumption has gone through the roof. Originally able to get 580km's per tank of fuel it is now at 400km's. Is it possible that the module is faulty or if I disconnect the battery will this reset it? please any help would be greatly appreciated :)

i think tech 2 could adjust this. my gauge is about 50lt on a 75 litre tank. so it seems to run out early. because i know this i can drive up to 150km while the needle is below empty.

thank you for replying :) I went to the local trusted Auto Electrician today & he told me to disconnect the battery for 5 minutes to reset everything but was unsure if it could be done on the model I have. I twas a little scared to do this but I thought it can not hurt and guess what, fixed with better fuel economy now so I am please that it worked. It is good to come across an Auto Electrician that is not going to rip you off. Holden told me that they could do a diagnostic for $126.50 then call me with the outcome...lol just saved myself some money.
