Who would win out of these two cars?

2005 VZ sv6 with a ss growler induction kit, dual 2 1/2 inch into a 3" into a hotdog exhaust 6 speed manual

2009 FG xr6 bone stock with 6 speed auto

I assume you mean in a drag race so the XR6, those mods on the SV6 do bugger all. The ford 6 will trounce the alloytec and an auto will be better than a manual in this case.

How would the FG munch it? because of the torque differences?

Newer car, better gearbox. The ZF in the XR6 is quite smooth and the Ford I6 engine is unfortunately more responsive and more powerful than Holden's 2005 equivalent.
