If it's a selling point why not point it out. Do Holden have exact figures for the effect on using better fuel? Or just the normal 'ERRRMmMMmmmmmY Gawd itzzz beterz'

It isnt really a selling point as most cars are capable of doing it these days. Holden probably though its not worth mentioning if its the same as Fords 7kw, you can gain more than that going from a hot dry day to a cold humid night simply from denser air.

Holden has more cams, must be better!

:D

I must say given the choice I would go the Ford Turbo 6 over the alloytec any day.

It's actually a 13kw and 29Nm difference going to 98, I would say an almost extra 30Nm of torque isn't something to sneeze at.

I misread the quote you posted, still 30nm is more than the recommended torque for an alloytec oil filter housing lol (25nm)

In other words, it aint much.

Still I think a lot of morons torque it to 300nm when I need a metre long breaker bar to remove them.

Bloody hell. Fanboy's vs fanboy's, when are people going to learn to buy what THEY want, not what majority tell them???
