Cheers, no updates unfortunately. Not much spare cash these days with kid in private school hahaha.

Hopefully will get the headlights soon and keen to get the fluted guards as well.

Will post pics when it happens, dont hold your breath :D

That black looks insane. Must be pretty hard keeping the paint looking glossy eh?

Well worth it in the end. I've always loved the look of that deep black and yr car is a prime example. Keep up the good work

    Update:

Now has full exhaust with Pacemaker extractors Venom 100 cell cats and Manta catback, MSD 2 step and underdrive. Currently building an angry 6.0 which will be replacing the 5.7.

Couple of pics from the recent Peter Brock memorial cruise.

Another update, the 6.0 is in finally. Made 470hp/560nm at the wheels. Ceramic cushioned clutch to take the extra power.

Was a bit of messing around making the VE 6.0 work with the VZ ECU and harness but we got there in the end.

Totally different car now very happy.

Love Black SV8s shouldn't have sold mine but kids etc, Love the drive feel of the VE chassis but the VY was a more fun drive with 232/234 cam and 3,9 diff

The 238/240 would be a tight fit, 239/247 needed flycut (shaved heads)

Even tighter when we took 40 though off the heads, pistons had to have valve relief machined in.

Yeah it's a pig under 2k being a manual but it's worth it for the feel when the cam comes on. :D
